Depart from Los Angeles and fly to the biggest city in Southern China - Guangzhou.

Day 3 GUANGZHOU - GUILIN (L/D)
Guangzhou is a civilized ancicent city with a history of more than 2200 years. After a warm welcome by our representative
at the Guangzhou Baiyun Airport, a city tour is arranged to visit the 72 Martyrs Mausoleum, Dr. Sun Yet-Sen's Memorial Hall, and
the famous Yue Xiu Park. In the evening we shall be on a domestic flight and head to Guilin.

Day 4 GUILIN (B/L/D)
The scenery of Guilin has been called the finest under heaven, and is South China's shining pearl, with verdant mountains,
elegant waters, magnificent crags and fantastic caverns. Cruise down the Li River today, you will be attracted by the fabulous natural
scenery of Guilin. Limestone spires rising out of the flat ground, with often perpendicular cliffs and trees sprouting from the cracks to
bend skyward - absolutely a marvelous view you can hardly find anywhere else. we shall visit the Elephant Trunk Hill and
Folded Brocade Hill.

Day 5 GUILIN - KUNMING (B/L/D)
After breakfast we visit the Reed Flute Cave before flying to Kunming - the capital city of Yunnan Province with a population of
3.7 million. It stands at an altitude of 1,895 meters with an annual average temperature of 15C, no wonder it has got a sobriquet "Spring City".

Day 6 KUNMING - SHILIN (B/L/D)
After breakfast we take a full day excursion to Shilin (Stone Forest). It is located at the southeast of Kunming city, covering an
area of 1657 square miles. Due to erosion and brushing along the crevices of limestones over aeons by sea waters, the sea bottom was
broken up and moulded into a multitude of stone pillars, V-shaped gorges and eroded cracks. A myriad of grotesque pinnacles shot up
and formed a spectacular stone forest. A tranditional Yunnan style dinner will be served tonight.

Day 7 (HONGKONG TOUR) KUNMING - HONGKONG (B/L) / Day 8 HONGKONG - U.S.A. (B)
Visit the Dragon Gate of Western Hill and The Grand View Park in the morning. After lunch, fly to Shenzhen and transfer to
Hong Kong - the Pearl of the East - by boat or express train. The rest of day is free for your own leisure. (Dinner excluded today)

Transfer to Hong Kong International Airport after breakfast on the 8th Day.

Day 7 (LIJIANG TOUR) KUNMING - DALI (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we visit Dragon Gate of Western hill and The Grand View Park. Then our bus will travel west to Dali - traditionally
one of the best places in China to tune in, turn on, and drop out for a while, remains a wonderful place to visit. We shall go to the
Dali Museum which contains archeological exhibits relating to the history of the Dali and Bai people. Also go to Lake Erhai and
the oldest architectural structures in Southwest China - The Three Pagodas.

Day 8 DALI - LIJIANG (B/L/D)
We travel north today to the home of Naxi - Lijiang. The Naxi are a proud, if small, ethnic group and have held on to many of
their traditions, despite the encroachment of modern life. Lijiang boasts no less than four full traditional orchestras, including the transverse
flute, three stringed banjo, Chinese lutes, giant cymbals and a fish-shaped wooden drum.

Day 9 LIJIANG (B/L/D)
Visit the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain after breakfast. It is also known as Mount Satseto, is the highest among the Himalayan peaks,
rising 5,600 meters above the plains. Visit the Yufeng Temple and Baisha Village - the ancient capital of the Naxi Kingdom.

Day 10 LIJIANG - GUANGZHOU - U.S.A. (B/L)
Visit the Heilongtan (Black Dragon Pool) in the morning - it lies in the Wulao Hills, a famous sight on the northern outskirts of Kunming.
It is known for its "four beauties", namely, the Han Temple, the Tang Plum Tree, the Sung Cypress and the Ming Tomb. The pool itself is
extremely limpid and a jet of fountain water can be seen gushing constantly onto the surface. A legend says that a long long time ago there were
ten dragons doing great
harm to the people. Afterward we shall proceed to the airport for the flight
to U.S., finish the 10 days Dali, Lijiang tour. ¡@ ¡@
